International youth football tournaments 2011 at peninsula of Istria/Adriatic coast
When it comes to football, Croatia is always a challenge. At the same time, it is one of the most beautiful regions in Europe. Apart from the most idyllic fishing villages, the holiday region Pula offers modern hotels, fantastic beaches, a unique culture and architecture - AND well-equipped sports facilities with grass fields maintained to the highest standards. Once an insider’s tip, Croatia has become one of KOMM MIT’s most attractive tournament countries. The programme includes a wide range of excursions that will take you from the football pitch to the loveliest regions of Istria. Half board accommodation is provided in holiday hotels. Full board is also available. Experience the easygoing football fun and a fantastic sea view at the "pearl of the Adriatic".
EThe tournament is organized by FC Medulin in cooperation with KOMM MIT.
Games are played on a sports ground with four natural grass pitches on the Croatian Adriatic coast with a unique sea view and in close proximity to your accommodations.
The teams are accommodated in holiday hotels or apartments in self-contained three- and four-bedrooms. Adults accompanying the teams can book single rooms at an extra charge (one single bed room per 20 persons or per team in case of a smaller group).
Half-board (Croatian and international cuisine) is provided throughout your stay: First meal: dinner, last meal: breakfast. Full-board can be booked on demand.
Apart from the tournament, there are several options for excursions: The cities of Pula, Porec or Rovinj are all worth a visit. If you are into kart racing, “Green Garden” will be your choice!
If you arrive “on your own” - by private car, bus, train or airplane, please always consider that you have to be mobile on site. The KOMM MIT staff will be pleased to help you book your airport shuttle and/or your bus transfer during the tournament.
Important Please note that, depending on your nationality a visa may be required for the transit of Slovenia and your stay in Croatia. For more information please contact the Embassies of Slovenia and Croatia.
