The prefecture of Pieria, located in the southern part of Macedonia has an area of 1,516 km². It is bordered to the east by the Thermaikos Gulf. Its capital is the town of Katerini, one of the newest cities in Greece, located in the foothills of Mt. Olympus. Surrounded by the deep blue water of the Mediterranean Sea, you will find comfortable and pleasant high standard accommodation. Organization

This tournament is organized by the local clubs and with KOMM MIT.

Sports facilities

Games are played on the nearby natural grass pitches in the foothills of Mount Olympus in the pleasant spring sun.

Lodging

The teams are accommodated in high standard holiday hotels (e.g. in Leptokaria), in self-contained rooms with two, three, or four beds. Adults accompanying the teams can book single rooms at an extra charge.

Board

Full board (buffet-style Greek and international cuisine) is provided throughout your stay. First meal: dinner, last meal: breakfast.

Excursions

The region offers lots of possibilities for excursions and recreational activities: “ALLtogether”- football fun, presented by adidas, a visit to the Meteora monasteries, pirate rides, a trip to Mount Olympus and the Zeus city of Dion or the Platamonas Castle - it’s up to you!

Transfer

If you arrive “on your own” - by private car, bus, train or airplane, please always consider that you have to be mobile on site. The KOMM MIT staff will be pleased to help you book your airport shuttle and / or your bus transfer during the tournament.
