Excursions in Croatia

The small city of Medulin which is especially visited by the youth lies in South Istria, ca. 10 km from Pula. With 82,000 residents, Pula is the largest city in Istria and it presents the cultural, economic and political centre of Istria. Experience Croatia – in Pula with its breathtaking amphitheatre and its special flair as well as on the whole Istria Peninsula!

The Amphitheater is situated outside the old city walls because of its size and geographical configuration. The road that leads to the center was constructed during Emperor Vespasian, after whom it was named – Via Flavia. It was built in the 1st century AD during the reign of Emperor Vespasian, at the same time as the magnificent Colosseum in Rome.

Trip to Labin

Labin was founded in the 5th century and has one of the most beautiful medieval Old Towns. Because of its good geographical exposure it was owned by a lot of different nations: at first governed the Ostrogoths, then the Byzantines, the Langobards, the Franks and at least the Venetians… Labin made history, so feel some of the past and walk through the small lanes or climb the Venetian bell tower where you have a magnificent view over the peninsula.
