Around 25,000 participants attend the KOMM MIT tournaments every year. There is no question that with such a number of football enthusiasts, the sports and pitch facilities are among the most important prerequisites for a successful tournament. KOMM MIT selects sports facilities and football pitches with great care and checks them regularly for their suitability.
KOMM MIT cooperates with local clubs at all tournament locations and thus offers all participants the opportunity to get to know the country and its people on the sports fields!
The tournaments are played on natural and artificial pitches in various stadiums along the Costa de Barcelona Maresme. Particularly noteworthy are the artificial turf pitches in the stadiums of Sant Vicenç de Montalt, in Sant Pol, Blanes as well as in Santa Susanna and in the stadium of Pineda de Mar. The pitches are in excellent condition and all stadiums have changing rooms, showers and a kiosk.
The sports facilities of the city of Riccione and FYA 3 Villaggi Riccione, where we have been holding our tournaments in Italy since 2009, consist of a stadium pitch (artificial turf), another high-quality artificial pitch and a natural grass pitch. Changing rooms, showers and a kiosk are available. In addition, we have other natural and artificial turf pitches in the vicinity of Riccione at our disposal, where, among other things, the small-sided matches are played.
The tournaments on the Croatian Adriatic coast are played on natural and artificial grass pitches at a pitch facility in Medulin, within walking distance of most accommodation (sea view included!). Sanitary facilities and a snack bar are available. If necessary, other natural/artificial turf pitches in the immediate vicinity are used. The final matches of your players will take place in the stadium in Pula in a unique atmosphere.
The modern sports facilities of FC Ommen have ten natural and artificial turf pitches of the best quality. Two grandstands, changing rooms, showers and toilets are available. The clubhouse has a snack bar where local snack specialities are offered to your players. A mini-soccer court and a bouncy castle provide fun during the breaks.
The Munich Summer Cup will be held at the modern sports facility of SV Lohhof, which has five large and one small pitch (natural and artificial turf pitches). Changing rooms, showers and toilets are available. All participants will be catered for “heartily” in the clubhouse/food stalls. Travelling fans can cheer on their team from the stands and perhaps the spirit of FC Bayern München can still be felt, who also trained here a time or two before their home games.
The Leipzig Hall tournament is held in the sports hall of the “Egidius Braun” sports school in Leipzig (Saxon Football Association). It is played in parallel on three small fields. There are changing rooms and showers in the hall for you and your team.
Not only the Europe Bridge, but also the Elsass Spring Cup stands for the connection between Kehl and Strasbourg, Germany and France. The tournament there will be held in the well-known Rhine Stadium in Kehl on three natural grass pitches and one artificial pitch, just a few steps away from the Rhine. The sports facility has a grandstand, changing rooms, showers, WCs and a snack bar. In the summer, test matches of European first division teams often take place here. Other venues (natural/artificial turf) are located in Strasbourg and the surrounding area.
