Health through exercise

Balance, exercise, nutrition, well-being without any physical, mental or social disorder: health has different definitions. Often it is only a snapshot. Nevertheless, we can have an influence on it and have a positive effect on our health.

Developing an awareness of the body and learning important aspects about the body and our health in a creative way through sport – that’s what we try to make possible for children and young people. For decades, we have been working together with various partners in the area of “health”, and in this way we have always set the course in health education for children and young people.

Our world is, and always has been, in a constant process of change. So are the conditions under which we grow up. However, a few factors have hardly changed over the years, decades and centuries: Exercise, nutrition and prevention.

We would like to teach children and young people some of these few factors for a healthy lifestyle at an early age. For this purpose, we thematise nutrition before, during and after sports, the importance of physical exertion (exercise) as well as preventive behaviour on topics such as sun protection, non-smoking and abstinence from alcohol, from the point of view of health education.

Our main project

Cooperation with German Children's Cancer Aid

We are currently working together with the German Children’s Cancer Aid. Under the motto “Focus on the future – be smart, live healthy”, we work together with them to raise interest in health-related topics. Learning essential content in a game-like way in a positive environment, or awakening interest in these topics, play a special role here.

As a highlight, once a year we raffle off a voucher for participation in one of our international sporting events in the course of the nationwide E-Youth Cup in aid of the German Children’s Cancer Aid.
