From August 28th to 30th, 2026 the beach in Warnemünde once again became the stage for beach soccer, summer vibes, and plenty of football enthusiasm. Alongside the DFB German Beach Soccer Championship, we at KOMM MIT were right in the middle of the action again – and this year with a very special focus: our youth tournament was dedicated entirely to girls' football.

It was "girls only" in the sand this time: young female footballers were given their very own stage in Warnemünde, showcasing the passion, team spirit, and quality inherent in girls' football. Barefoot in the sand, right by the Baltic Sea and in front of numerous spectators, an atmosphere was created that made this weekend truly special.

It was about much more than just the results. Thrilling matches, fair play, and plenty of goals were just as much a part of it as shared celebrations, new encounters, and the joy of experiencing football in a completely different environment.

The girls-only tournament in particular showed how important it is to make girls in football visible and to offer them unique experiences and platforms. For us at KOMM MIT, promoting girls' football is a key part of our work – and Warnemünde was the perfect stage for it.

A real highlight awaited at the end: the final matches were held in the official beach soccer arena. There, the young players were able to show what they are made of once again – with great commitment, fairness, and support from the stands.

Between the sand, the Baltic sea air, and the football, we once again created exactly what our tournaments stand for: playing together, experiencing things together, and growing beyond ourselves together – ALLTOGETHER.

A big thank you goes to all the players, coaches, staff, volunteers, and spectators who made this weekend possible and brought the girls-only tournament to life with so much energy.

We are already looking forward to the next edition – and to continuing to inspire girls to play football, providing them with special stages, and creating unforgettable football moments together.
