The future of football begins on the sports fields of our clubs

With the Girls-Football-Festival KOMM MIT creates international encounters, strengthens clubs and makes a statement for the sustainable development of girls' football.

Girls' and women's football is experiencing impressive growth worldwide. However, the crucial question today is no longer whether this development will continue, but how it can be shaped sustainably.

For KOMM MIT, the answer is clear: The future of football is not decided solely in Europe's large stadiums. It begins on the training and sports fields of our clubs.

It is precisely there that young people become enthusiastic about football. That's where community, self-confidence, and the passion that sustains our sport are born.

With the Girls-Football-Festival, we therefore create an international space where female players from different countries can come together, learn from each other, and experience unforgettable football moments together. As part of the European Youth Football Tour (EYFT), the festival connects clubs, cultures, and people across national borders.

At the last edition, around 1,200 female players from seven nations came together. Together, they not only experienced exciting matches but also became part of an international football community that stands for openness, respect, and solidarity.

It's about far more than just sporting competition.

The Girls-Football-Festival offers a protected space where girls can experience football free from prejudice, limitations, and traditional gender roles. A place where friendships are formed, teams grow together, and young people learn what it means to be part of something bigger.

At the same time, participating clubs also benefit. International experiences, shared moments, and new impulses strengthen the players' connection to their club and support the sustainable development of girls' football structures locally.

Our responsibility, however, does not end at the sidelines.

We want to build bridges – between grassroots and professional football, between young female players and their role models, and between local clubs and international perspectives. Our goal is to show girls the opportunities football can offer them today – both on and off the pitch.

Therefore, we actively promote exchange with associations, clubs, experts, and personalities from top-level football. Together, we want to create the framework conditions so that girls can forge their own path in football and unleash their potential.

Since 1983, KOMM MIT has followed a simple principle: football should connect people and create opportunities.

With the Girls-Football-Festival, this idea becomes tangible for the next generation. It strengthens clubs, creates international encounters, and shows young female players that they are part of a strong community.

The future of football needs strong girls. It needs strong clubs.

And it begins precisely where passion, community, and development converge: on the sports fields of our clubs.
