FVR and KOMM MIT extend successful partnership to promote youth soccer
It is with great pleasure that the Rhineland Football Association (FVR) and KOMM MIT announce the extension of their proven partnership to promote youth soccer at grassroots level. Together, we are sending a strong message: We stand together to sustainably strengthen youth soccer and open up new perspectives for young people through soccer.
A particular focus of our cooperation is on promoting international encounters between young soccer players. These experiences enable children and young people to make friends across borders, learn about new cultures and develop important intercultural skills. For us, soccer is a language that connects and builds bridges.
Targeted support for girls' soccer is particularly important to us. This year, for example, the four winning teams of the Junior Rhineland Championships were awarded a generous travel allowance for the international Girls-Football-Festival rewarded in Croatia — a tournament organized purely for girls, which focuses on team spirit, passion and intercultural cooperation.

Dennis Gronau, managing director of the Rhineland Football Association, emphasizes: “We are very pleased to continue the successful cooperation with KOMM MIT. Promoting youth soccer is a matter close to our hearts. We are particularly proud to work together to make international matches possible and to strengthen girls' soccer in a targeted manner. ”
Philipp Reinartz, managing director of KOMM MIT, is also optimistic about the future: “By extending our partnership, we are underlining our commitment to promoting youth soccer at grassroots level. We will continue to promote international matches, provide targeted support for girls' soccer and strengthen club life, in particular volunteer work — together with the FVR. ”
For over 40 years, KOMM MIT has lived the vision of soccer as a powerful language of communication. Year after year, we give thousands of young people the opportunity to compete in sports and experience values such as fair play, tolerance and international understanding. Together with FVR, we are continuing this journey — for a strong, lively soccer community at the grassroots level.
