We are delighted to announce that KOMM MIT is intensifying and expanding its partnership with the DFB Foundation Egidius Braun! Together, we are setting another milestone in our work and strengthening the next generation with our commitment.

We can look back on an ongoing, very successful collaboration with the Egidius Braun Academy. There, we are committed to volunteering together. The Academy is an important part of the Foundation and promotes the development of volunteers in the soccer world, particularly in grassroots clubs. We are now expanding our cooperation partnership to include another important and traditional DFB Foundation project: the soccer vacation holidays.

A strong team for strong values

The DFB Foundation Egidius Braun is known for its commitment to using soccer as a platform to communicate social values. This is not just about goals and training sessions, but above all about strengthening young people's development. Democracy, tolerance and fair play are central topics of the Foundation, which they integrate into its programs in an exciting and educational way. These are values that KOMM MIT has also lived in its work since 1983 and that fit perfectly with our mission.

As experienced organizers in the area of intercultural youth meetings about soccer, we want to use this partnership to help young people grow together not only on the playing field, but also beyond their personal limits. Our vision is for young people to gain new perspectives through sport, reduce prejudices and contribute to a more peaceful and inclusive society through exchange with other cultures and backgrounds. Together with the Egidius Braun DFB Foundation, we would now like to further expand this vision with the soccer vacation holidays!

What makes this collaboration so special?

The soccer holidays are much more than just sporting events. It is about showing young people how much they have in them and giving them the opportunity to develop both sportively and personally. In this area of partnership, KOMM MIT will actively participate in the planning and organization of leisure time, drawing on our many years of experience in organising international events. We not only contribute our knowledge in the area of youth promotion and intercultural encounters, but also our heart and soul to offer young people an experience that will accompany them forever.

In addition to soccer activities — which are of course not neglected — there will also be numerous workshops and activities on important social issues during leisure time: Democracy, tolerance and fair play will be the focus and will be conveyed in a way that benefits participants not only in sports but also in everyday life. We firmly believe that values such as respect, fairness and cooperation are the basis for a strong and sustainable society — and that is exactly what we are working together to do.

Through cooperation with the DFB Foundation Egidius Braun, this experience becomes a place of learning, growth and personal development. We want to show young people that they can be victorious not only on the playing field, but also in life — as responsible, respectful and committed people who make a difference.

This partnership is also a strong sign of our shared responsibility. It helps to advance SDG 16 — Peaceful and Inclusive Societies by creating an environment in which tolerance and democracy are lived. At the same time, we support SDG 17 — Partnerships to achieve goals by uniting two strong organizations that together achieve bigger goals and make a positive difference in young people's lives in the process.

With this partnership, we are laying another important foundation for a more equitable and respectful future. Because we know that if young people are taught the right values today and grow in a respectful environment, this will be reflected in tomorrow's society. We are firmly convinced that this collaboration not only benefits the participants of the soccer vacation holidays, but that it is also an inspiration for all of us.
