Fußball vereint: Gemeinsam für Vielfalt

Over the Whitsun holidays, KOMM MIT brought together more than 160 youth teams through football. Children and young people from Europe together used the power of football to send a signal for an equal and diverse Europe.

In Spain, Italy, Croatia and the Netherlands, KOMM MIT celebrated a united Europe at four football festivals with more than six nations. The numerous teams played for the popular cups and medals. A special highlight was once again the awarding of the fair play trophy, which has been awarded to the fairest team at all KOMM MIT events for almost 40 years.

For the 38th time, the traditional international Whitsun tournament was held under the Spanish Mediterranean sun. 1,800 participants did not miss this opportunity and watched exciting football matches until the end.
The Croatia Football Festival took place in Croatia. The sports event on the Adriatic coast combines cultural learning and football fun. The numerous parents and carers ensured a national and international “fan exchange”.

Philipp Reinartz, Managing Director of KOMM MIT, was pleased that once again many teams followed the motto of KOMM MIT “feel the spirit of Europe” and experienced mutual respect and the recognition of diversity through football.
